Evil Eye Protection Ritual

A nazar ritual drawn from Anatolian household tradition — blue glass, harmal smoke and spoken prayers set around your name to ward off envy and the heavy gaze.

In Anatolia the nazar — the evil eye — has long been answered with blue glass, burning harmal seeds and quiet words spoken over the threshold. This ritual follows that household practice.

At the altar your name is written and placed beneath a beeswax candle, ringed with salt. Harmal seeds are cast onto the coals, and their smoke is passed around the blue bead while the old protective verses are recited. The bead is then left to rest by the flame until the candle has burned down.
